Lesson needs a better narrative

Although the lesson has a common theme of using wave buoy data it doesn't really feel like there's a particular task that is being accomplished. We take the learners through doing lots of useful things, but they are very disconnected from each other.  It might also help to have a back story of a researcher who has been given this data and needs to perform certain analyses on it.
