Launch the Application: After the installation is complete, find the zombie-hunter application in your programs or applications list and open it.
To run zombie-hunter effectively, your system should meet the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10, macOS Catalina or later, or a Linux distribution (Ubuntu 20.04 or later recommended).
- Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM.
- Disk Space: 100 MB of free space for installation.
- Internet Connection: Required for connecting to cloud services and receiving Slack notifications.
Once you launch zombie-hunter, you will find a simple user interface. Here’s how to get started:
- Connect to Your Cloud Account: Follow the on-screen prompts to link your AWS, GCP, or Azure account. You will need your account credentials for this step.
- Set Up Slack Integration: Provide your Slack workspace details to receive alerts and manage resources.
- Scan for Unused Resources: Click on the "Scan" button. The application will look for unused resources across your linked accounts.
- Review Findings: After the scan, you will see a list of unused resources. Review each one carefully.
- Clean Up Resources: Select the resources you want to delete and click the "Cleanup" button.
