- Smile detection is a special task in facial expression analysis with various potential applications such as photo selection, user experience analysis, smiling payment and patient monitoring.
- This Smile Detector model is developed using The Viola-Jones Algorithm.
- This model detects and places a bouncing box over the mouth of the person only if he/she is smiling or else only the face will be detected.
- The dataset for this model comprises of two Haarcascades xml files, Frontal_face_haarcascade for face and smile_haarcascade for smile.
