Offline Fabric Minecraft 1.21.8 (MultiMC) Freezes when exiting any world. #5650

Description of bug
Upon pressing the "Save and Quit to Title" button, I expected my world to save, and Minecraft return to the main menu.
However, when I pressed the button, the game simply showed "Saving World" and refused to return to the main menu. I do think that the world chunks saved, as this was reported in the MultiMC consol
Steps to reproduce
- Launch Minecraft 1.21.8 in offline mode with any username.
- Create a new world with any settings, it does not matter.
- Enter the escape menu, and press the "Save and Quit to Title" button.
Suspected cause
No response
This issue is unique
- I have searched the issue tracker and did not find an issue describing my bug.
