Cannot add document to the app

Hi, I'm very new to this kind of desktop app so pliz bear with me if I'm asking silly question.

I have installed the KnowNote app on my Macbook. I could open the app and created a new note, but the option to add Document / input my command is frozen.

I have also connected my Deepseek API key and enabled the model.

Could you help give me some guidance how to fix this?

Hello! To get started, please navigate to AI Providers and add an Embedding Model.

After that, go to General Settings and select the model you just added as your Default Embedding Model.

Hi It got the same issue as @MysticEEEE above. I only got the conversational model.

Hello everyone, this situation is likely due to the fact that most model providers' API interfaces do not return information related to the embedded model, causing the embedded model to fail to display properly. I plan to fix this in the next version.

If the embedded model you are using is not displayed in the list, you can try checking the API documentation of the corresponding provider and manually add a custom provider, which may resolve the issue.
