Hi, I am Ben! (he/him)

Quick Intro

👋 Hi, I'm Ben Cheung (he/him) - a biochemist turned software engineer. I have worked in software engineering roles for companies like Coinbase, Veeva, Riot Games, and TD Bank.

🎓 I am a CS grad at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. My previous degree was a B.Sc in Honours Biochemistry at the University of Windsor.

✨I love building and scaling communities. I'm currently building Tech Career North🍁 [formerly Tech Career Change] - a community for Canadian tech talent.

🌐 I've organized 9+ hackathons with 300-1,000+ attendees, mentored at 10+ hackathons, hosted panels and career-oriented workshops, and participated in numerous speaking engagements. I've also given lectures, including one at UBC.
