The Hub de Datos de Transporte Público (HDTP) is an open platform created by Codeando México to help Mexican and Latin America cities publish standardized public transport data. Through GTFS feeds, mapping workflows, and open methodologies, the project turns fragmented transit information into reusable digital infrastructure that can power trip planners, accessibility tools, research, and mobility analysis.
More than a data portal, HDTP is designed to lower the technical and operational barriers that prevent many municipalities from publishing open transit data. The platform combines collaborative mapping, validation processes, and open standards to help governments, civic groups, and researchers build interoperable transport datasets that can continuously evolve over time.
