This repository contains the analysis and data processing code for a retrospective cohort study on Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) in hospitalized patients during 2023. The study includes CDI cases and aims to identify key risk factors associated with reinfection and mortality, with special focus on treatment regimens, clinical history, and the presence of hypervirulent ribotypes.

Objectives

• Identify clinical, analytical, and therapeutic variables linked to CDI reinfection and mortality.
• Develop a predictive tool to support clinical decision-making.
