Summary

  • guard navigateToPreferredDestination so it waits for the activity to reach RESUMED before triggering navigation
  • retry navigation after resume to avoid race conditions when the fragment is not yet attached

Testing

  • ./gradlew test (fails: SDK location not found in container environment)
