Blender Purge Unused Data Addon

A simple Blender addon to purge unused data-blocks and display purge statistics in the Info Area. Compatible with Blender 3.6 to 4.3+.

Installation

1. Download the Easy_Purge.py file.
2. Open Blender and go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.
3. Click Install... and select the purge_unused_data.py file.
4. Enable the addon by checking the box next to it.

Usage

1. Access the Addon:

   • In the 3D View, go to the top menu bar and click View3D > UI > Purge Unused Data.

   • Alternatively, press F3 and search for "Purge Unused Data".

2. Run the Purge:

   • Click the "Purge Unused Data" button in the menu or operator search.
   • The addon will remove all unused data-blocks and display the results in the Info Area.

3. View Purge Statistics:

   • After running the operator, check the Info Area (top bar) for a summary of purged data-blocks.
