The sendWelcomeMessage is never actually called in the javascript version.

I'm not sure this is the right fix, but it does look like we don't actually call the sendWelcomeMessage. Investigating |

Turns out we're going to need a different fix for this - not as simple as calling that function. We're writing up a fix independently to take care of this, will be published shortly. Thanks for pointing us to the bug! |
