Set label manually

The individual trajectories of my dataset are distinguished by the filename of the txt-file (e.g. traj01.txt), while the used method is defined on folder level (e.g. method1/traj01.txt; method2/traj01.txt). evo_traj/evo_rpe/evo_ape use the filename stem as label. Thus, all trajectories get the label 'traj01'.
Is there a way to manually set the label used in the legends of plots and in the output files?

For evo_traj you can add --show_full_names, this will at least make sure that the labels have the relative file path including your folders when you invoke that from some parent directory.

evo_traj tum method1/traj01.txt method2/traj01.txt --show_full_names -p

In general, there's probably not a perfect solution at the moment (unless you start manual scripting). If you use the Qt-based backend for matplotlib, you could also change the labels interactively: #648 (comment) (although this is not really viable if you have lots of data).

Not sure about ape/rpe, at least plots should not have the trajectory name in legends there...?

Which output files do you mean specifically?

Ok, it seems there is no clean solution, but I will be able to manage. But I think such a feature might be interesting for future updates. Especially with large datasets this becomes messy quite quickly.

Output files referred to the files, which can be generated by evo_rpe/evo_res, like the zip and csv files.
