Explanation

These two version upgrades are being batched together because the regressions introduced in v5.3 are resolved in v5.4 without any additional action needing to be taken.

  • Apply ts-expect-error directives.
    • It appears that three immer type errors (An object type that contains Json causes a recursive error in conjunction with Draft/WritableDraft types from Immer utils#168) are having flaky interactions.
    • These errors are only present in the tests, and don't show up as build errors.
      • This leads me to conclude that this is an issue with ts-jest, not typescript.

ts-jest[versions] (WARN) Version 5.4.5 of typescript installed has not been tested with ts-jest. If you're experiencing issues, consider using a supported version (>=3.8.0 <5.0.0-0). Please do not report issues in ts-jest if you are using unsupported versions.
