In order to document the way KEMET has been modified over time, from this moment onward it will make use of Releases version.
Description of what changed from the original version
Compared to the version discussed in the Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal paper, v. 1.0.0 is different with regards to:
-
An useful script to automatically include info about GTDB taxonomy as obtained via GTDB-tk (updated up to GTDB v207). This way it is simpler to scale big analyses to a big number of MAGs/Genomes (#7)
-
An increased number of KEGG Modules supported in the metabolic potential analyses. The current version is updated to KEGG Release 105.0, January 1, 2023 (#3 & #14)
-
An all-encompassing code simplification and easier to follow Readme.md document, as well as documentation included in the Github repository Wiki pages. These include instruction on the setup, as well as some relevant output descriptions and script use cases (#14).
