Teams Background Changer

Simple application to change the background of Teams for Linux using Java and Spring Boot.

Requirements

• Teams-for-linux
• Java 21

Steps for Usage

1. Open the JAR:

   • Make sure you have Java 21 installed.
   • You can download the application from the Releases .
   • Run the application's JAR file using the following command:

     java -jar teams-background-changer-*.jar

   • or you can run it from "start.sh".
   • Apply the permissions using chmod +x start.sh
   • Run the provided shell script to start the application with optimized JVM parameters.

      ./start.sh

2. Start the Spring Server:

   • It's essential to start the Spring server before uploading images.
   • Click on the "Start Spring server" button in the user interface to start the server.

3. Upload Background Images:

   • After starting the Spring server, click on the "Select background" button to choose the image you want to upload.
   • The image will be uploaded and available as a background in Teams for Linux.
