We currently have a checklist in the PR template itself but want to phase that out so that it doesn't show up in squash merged PRs. This is an alternative that posts the checklist to the PR when opened. This is based on the current checklist in the PR template plus some light editing. One could argue that some of the checklist entries should be removed because in practice we rarely check them/ignore them.
