README for the InfectiWatch backend

Description:

This Project is based on Non-communicable disease charity. Our project displays the non-communicable diagnostic analysis, based within the country, and shows the analysis of the statistics within the country.

Based on the current world trend, we had a look at the common challenges people encounter such as,

• Limited access to technology
• Inadequate health literacy and digital literacy
• Data privacy and security concerns
• Lack of interoperability and standardization
• Cost and resource constraints

Requirements

• A well functioning laptop, tablet or smarthphone.
• Constant Power Supply.
• A well and stable Internet connection.

Technologies Used:

• Backend: Django/Flask Python

• Database: PostgreSQL

• Wireframes: Figma (Should be mobile friendly)

• Testing Framework: ​Jest & Minitests

• Frontend: ReactJs &Redux Toolkit(state management)

  • Users can create an account and log in.
  • Users can view a listing of the most prevalent communicable diseases.
  • Users can view areas where the communicable diseases have affected the most
  • Users can view more details about a specific communicable disease
  • Users can view more details about a specific affected area
  • Users can give their reviews of how they’d like to help eradicate the disease in a specific area
  • Users can view a map showing the analysis of communicabke diseases affecting a specifuc area
  • Users can offer donations areas affected by the diseases.

Admin Features

- An Admin can create users and add existing users (Change their roles)
- Perform CRUD operations on communicable diseases.
- Perform CRUD operations on areas affected by communicable diseases.
