mrpt2 failing to build in ROS Noetic

It looks like all builds of mrpt2 are failing in ROS Noetic

It seems like there's a long list of errors about being unable to find libraries on amd64

I wonder where CMAKE_INSTALL_LIBDIR is being set.

It would still be great to get down to the real cmake + LIBDIR + catkin issue, but a workaround allows this to move forward.

Fixed via a bunch of commits like e.g. mrpt-ros-pkg-release/mrpt2-release@92bfc47

Will leave this open to remember to bloom_release after v2.0.5
