⚡ Fun fact The first ever Linux kernel was incredibly tiny! We're talking a mere 65 kilobytes (kb) for the whole thing. That's about the size of a small image file on your phone today. In comparison, the Linux kernel as of 2018 had grown to over 20 million lines of code! Even though it's gotten much bigger, it's still a testament to how efficient Linux can be.
