Packages not installing right cuda version

nvidia gtx 1060 6gb

What happened?

When installing comfyui after the last 2 updates, I get an error that my GPU doesn't support the latest compute capabilities (it only supports 61) . I am then forced to manually uninstall and re-install all torch and pytorch packages with cuda v118. Could this possibly be detected automatically so we get all of the right dependencies right off the install? I have a GTX 1060 and I think a lot of others probably have this issue and it will turn them away from the app. I'm on Linux running the appimage, but i've tried on arch as well with the Aur package, and I get the same error.

Sorry about that, didn't realize the 1000-series was "legacy" already. I believe everything up to cu126 should still work, would you mind trying that? If so I'll get that into the next update. Thanks!

Crazy right? I just realized it was legacy after the recent update.

GTX 1060 supports up to torch 2.8.0+cu129. Anything above both versions will get less support. Some new features will need cu130 so I guess it is the end of gtx.
