Under Macos26 the Extension seem to work just fine.

But from what I can see under MacOs26 the Extension seems to do what it should.

I have been using it with macOS 26 Tahoe and the only problem I can find is cosmetic. When you select the prefpane in system preferences on a big display, the pane at the right doesn't adjust to the width or length of preferences window. In some cases it doesn't matter, but sometimes it is really cumbersome when you have long lists of items, like in URI Schemes or Uniform Type Identifiers tabs.
