Doesn't seem to commit properly

This plugin clones wonderfully, but doesn't seem to commit changes when they get saved (via ctrl+s or "Save Changes" in the top level "Gist Dev" menu. I can navigate to the folder manually and do a git push no problem. I've tried this with both public and private gists.

Does the Save Changes and Share on GitHub option work (commit and push) for you? I know that one definitely works on my system.
