This project is amazing. I bought an Onyx Boox Air5c recently. In Kitt Betts-Masters yt channel was a mention about this app. So i checked it. This app checks all checkmarks except drawing with a pen the line laggs significantly for me bejond usable :(

It wold be great if the onyx sdk could be used somehow (https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.onyx.android.sdk/onyxsdk-pen/1.5.0.3) to improve the situation.

Right now I use Saber (https://github.com/saber-notes/saber) for cross platform note taking which has onyx sdk and the pen works fine. The problem is it has some longstanding bugs and same missing features which makes the use of it a bit unplesant.

Hi thanks for the interest.

I sadly don't have this device so I added the https://github.com/LinwoodDev/Butterfly/issues?q=state%3Aopen%20label%3A%22help%20wanted%22 label. I'm happy for contributions with such a device and having coding experiences.

I saw that this sdk isn't opensource so we might need to make extra binaries for a non foss version.
For implementing this, we could use the same dependency as saber (is also the developer of the library): https://pub.dev/packages/onyxsdk_pen.

Oh and i saw this: onyx-intl/OnyxAndroidDemo#132.
I wouldn't add the dependency to the app if they don't satisfy the play store requirement.

I asked them about the SDK and I got this reply:
