GitHub Pages no longer requires the gh-pages branch to enable Pages, and there is a new workflow for Pages source branch configuration. This PR updates the GitHub Pages part of the Git lesson to reflect these changes.

  • Remove references to gh-pages branch
  • Add new Pages branch settings workflow with screenshots

This commit looks correct and helpful. I think we should move forward with merging this commit since github has changed the way of setting up gh_pages

gh-pages branch is not required any more. A previous reference has been removed by PR LibraryCarpentry#103, however there remained a leftover. This change removes that.

gh-pages branch is not required any more. A previous reference has been removed by PR #103, however there remained a leftover. This change removes that.
