Atriuum ILS by BookSystems Error #422
Description
Libki Server does not work out of box if you follow the instructions in the manual if you use the Atriuum ILS by BookSystems.
This is due to the "PB" SIP2 field being used to pull the patrons birthday to add to the database. The way Atriuum formats their SIP2 packets, the PB field returns ASCII Hex 20 or a Device Control Signal 4 and inserts that into the database which causes it to crash and give an "Error connecting to server. Verify Libki Server is accessible from this network. Error Code 401: Error transferring [...]" error.
This can be solved by changing that field to the "PD" SIP2 field on the ILS Integration page. Unsure if this should be here or on the Libki Manual Page but wanted to have the information available for any other library that comes along wanting to integrate Atriuum with Libki.
