+## Past Week
+This week, my focus was SQL and I completed the "Data Analyst with SQL" career track on DataCamp. Tracks on DataCamp are essentially sequences of courses that are tailored to a certain skill or career. Although DataCamp courses are not very challenging, I find that they provide good quality content and are quite useful for getting familiar with new concepts. I understand that I will not master any languages or data skills simply through DataCamp, but I believe that it gives me a strong foundation of knowledge which I can apply in further projects and jobs to achieve mastery.

+I also built a web scraper in Python to scrape last minute deal packages from the Air Canada website, which I will push to my GitHub shortly. I enjoyed working on it more than I expected and plan to improve it and build other scrapers, while developing my scraping skills in the process. This will be my project-based way of building my data collection skills as I learn more about data analysis and machine learning.

+In terms of advancing my learning, my aim is to shift my focus to Python and work through some DataCamp Python tracks at a fast pace in the coming weeks. I will then shift my focus to working on a bigger project to add to my portfolio and showcase my data analysis skills. I believe that I will be job-ready in about a month and will try to secure a data job within two or three months.
