User editing of projects breaks access

Describe the issue

Editing users in the Team/Stakeholders tab adds/removes the wrong users from the team. It can also cause to remove myself from the team, losing access to the project/strategy/plan.

I can provide testing or other information if requested.

Reproduction steps

1. Open a strategy
2. Click "Edit"
3. Select a new user to be added
   Either the wrong user will be added, your current user will become a ghost user (visible by icon) or a user will have the avatar of another user and the wrong name.
