Escape key pressing doesn't cancel the drawing

Hi,

Im using leaflet draw to draw areas on a map, and after pressing the escape key, and then try to draw again, the second draw is done 2 times (or the number of times that I've pressed the escape key). any ideas how to resolve this?

You can capture the key and treat the event like this...

$(document).keyup(function (e) {
    if (e.keyCode == 27) {
        // ESC key pressed
    }
});

I think this would be the case of Draw.Feature class throw a draw:canceled event. If you see the code, it's already listening to the ESC key.

To me seems redundant to have to implement another listener to the ESC key, which you would have to verify also the drawing conditions, instead to just subscribing to a draw:canceled event.

This is my solution. I rewrote the function and inside, instead of call to "disabled" function i called my removePolygon function.

L.Draw.Feature.prototype._cancelDrawing = function(e) {
      if (e.keyCode === 27) {
           self.removePolygon();
      }
};

PD: It's important to execute this code before enable the polygon.
