Early work to ultimately create an AXL service that can be run separately from the SCR-Enabled application that will perform the asynchronous I/O work allowing the compute node to run free. This service may ultimately be run within a container in a separate space (like a rabbit node of El Cap) to perform I/O operations from storage resources shared between the compute and rabbit hardware.
