- Line 103: Update the TOC resolution description to limit skipped-link coverage
to links that reach path resolution, include outside-scope among the recorded
reasons, and avoid claiming that every skipped link is recorded because
null-destination links are omitted.
- Line 97: Clarify the documentation’s claim that ad-hoc leaf siblings cannot
gate other notes: that guarantee applies only to the numbered tier, since
`toc-chain.ts` may use ordinary leaves as TOC candidates. Qualify the statement
accordingly, without changing TOC composition.
- Line 97: Correct the `guide-js.md` example in the Tier-0 hygiene
documentation: `classifyNoteForChain()` does not make this filename a backbone
lesson under the current `isContentDocName()` rule. Remove it as a lesson
example, or change the rule to recognize `guide-` names if that behavior is
intended.
- Line 177: Update the documentation for `palee roadmap --auto-chain` to match
the output from `roadmap.ts`: remove the claim that it prints a synthesized-edge
summary, while preserving the documented topic-count and skipped-edge reporting.
- Line 107: Remove the incorrect badge-wrapped TOC link caveat;
`extractTocLinks()` correctly extracts the outer destination in the shown
example. Do not replace it with an unverified failing case.
In `@docs/03-2-dependency-graph-engine.md`:
- Line 235: Update the Auto-Chain Ordering (INV-46/47) summary and the Honest
refusal (C4) summary to state that refusal requires no numbered layout, no
resolved README TOC link, and zero planned edges; leave the consolidated
CHANGELOG.md entry unchanged.

12-13: LGTM!
Carry the PAL-205-B and PAL-205-C review fixes into the docs branch so the invariant and command reference are restated against the code they now describe.
…iew round left The entries described behaviour that has since moved, and the review-round fixes were undocumented. - translation copies: the excluded arm is a locale suffix on a *generic* doc name; on any other name it demotes to a leaf. The old text listed `assignment.es.md` as excluded. - `guide-js.md` is a leaf, not a lesson: only its `js` token is protected from the locale arm, and it carries no number or content-doc prefix. The example now names what is actually exempt. - template notes match as a whole token and a numbered name is exempt, so `03-cpp/02-templates.md` and `04-jinja-templates/` stay lessons. - the vault-root bridge keys on a numbered segment at any depth, and the corpus measurement that was quoted came from the narrower rule it replaced. - the tier moved from `--auto-chain[=tier]` to `--chain-tier`, which is also what keeps `--auto-chain <path>` working; the TOC entry now documents that. - TOC composition: a keep is dropped when walking the merged predecessor chain reaches the head, not when the kept note happens to be in the enumeration. - C1: the TOC run now really does mirror the numbered ranks, phase index included — the claim it previously made without doing so. - roadmap summary: names the line the CLI prints now, which counts synthesized edges rather than topics. - adds a Fixes section for the seven review-round defects, including the two that could destroy user data: a fenced example rewriting a note's `depends_on`, and a differently-cased wikilink overwriting `palee_id`.

"Markdown links in document order become the chain" read as an absolute, but `planTocChain` reshapes a same-directory group wherever a stated order outranks position — README first, numeric by number, `deep-dive → lab → exam`, homework last. Document order is the tiebreak between equal ranks, which is the name of the game here: a README listing a lab before its deep dive must not chain the deep dive onto the lab.

…iew round left Every claim here was re-checked against the branch heads, and each one had moved under the fixes landed for the review rounds on #214 and #215. - INV-46 tier composition: `--auto-chain` is a boolean and the tier is `--chain-tier`. The clause also records why — an optional value on the flag would take the adoption path, and a directory named `toc` would be indistinguishable from a tier. - INV-46 root bridge (PAL-205-G2): qualifies on a numbered segment at any depth. Stating "first segment" documented a rule that was unreachable in the `MODULES/01-foundations/…` layout used throughout this project. - INV-46 leaf rule: non-gating is scoped to the numbered tier, with the TOC exception named as author-stated order rather than as a hole in the invariant. Restricting TOC candidates to backbone was considered and rejected — the notes the tier exists for are precisely the unnumbered ones. - INV-46 TOC replacement: widened to what composition actually does. A TOC edge replaces a covered note's predecessor including a structure-justified same-directory edge; only a chain head keeps its numbered edge, and only when walking the merged predecessor chain shows the keep cannot close a cycle. - INV-46 hygiene: template matching is a whole token with numbered names exempt, and the two locale arms are separated (`README.ko-KR.md` excluded, `assignment.es.md` demoted). - `docs/02-1`: the ordering, chaining, TOC-tier, tiers/refusal and conflicts steps rewritten to the shipped rules; the options table split into `--auto-chain` and `--chain-tier`; the warning section describes the two conditions it now reports separately instead of a proxy count; the skipped-link coverage claim scoped to links that reach path resolution and `outside-scope` added; the Topic ID row corrected to `T-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS-<hex>` with the legacy form noted as still valid. - `docs/02-1` known issues: the badge-wrapped-link entry is deleted — `extractTocLinks('[](target.md)')` returns `target.md`, so the caveat described a defect that does not exist — and the warning seam entry re-quoted for the message that now prints, with the single-unnumbered-note reproduction named. - `docs/03-2`: the INV-46/47 row extended to the root bridge depth, the TOC leaf rule, the three refusal conditions, the fenced-example and balanced-parenthesis extraction rules, and the fact that `--include`/`--exclude`/`--tag` also keep a note out of the predecessor set. - `CHANGELOG.md`: the C4 bullet gained the third refusal condition. Verified: `npm test` 1160 pass / 0 fail, `test/planning-invariant-ids.test.ts` green, and `npm run docs:build` renders.

The item 7 sentence documented the pre-write `Auto-chain:` line and left the
post-commit `Auto-chained:` line undescribed, so the page did not cover all the
auto-chain output the CLI prints.
Captured from a real run on a mixed fixture (numbered module plus a
README-enumerated unnumbered directory), `adopt --all --auto-chain`:
Auto-chain: enabled (full tier — 4 edge(s) written: 3 numbered, 1 toc)
Auto-chained: 4 dependency edges wired across 6 notes.
The note count is files written (`journal.length`, the same figure as the
"Successfully adopted N notes" line), so it includes chain heads while the edge
count does not; `--dry-run` prints the first line only. Both counts are already
pinned by assertions in this file's own test suite.
Carries 74284ee and 019e02c into the docs branch. - `docs/02-1` item 2: names both exclusions — the vault-root group never contributes to the directory clause because the hygiene plan hoists it on purpose, and after the TOC tier runs both claims are recomputed over the paths it did not cover, so notes an author's README sequenced are never reported as alphabetically ordered or offered as `--exclude` candidates. - CHANGELOG Fixes section gains the two entries, each with the measured pre-fix reproduction rather than a restatement of the symptom.
