500 error after updating to v1.11.1 (docker, portainer)

I am running Linkace docker images through portainer and recently updated to v1.11.1 from v1.10.don'tremember
And after I have done the update I get this error message when opening Linkace:

500 - Server Error
An internal server error occured. If you are the administrator, consult the application logs for details.

If I change the image used to:
image: linkace/linkace:v1.10.5
It will work and in the docker logs I find that the 500 error now are a 200 success instead.

I have tested both of the v1.11.0 and v1.11.1 images and neither will work, it produces the same 500 error, as for the logs they are from using 1.11.1 image.

Not sure how you installed LinkAce on Portainer, but the error indicates that something wasn't updated. If there are volumes for the app container, please delete it between updates.

Also, a suggestion: use the simple image whenever you can. It certainly makes things easier and works in 99% of all use cases.

I had these volumes:

linkace_db mounted at  /var/lib/docker/volumes/linkace_db/_data
linkace_linkace_app mounted at  /var/lib/docker/volumes/linkace_linkace_app/_data
linkace_linkace_logs mounted at  /var/lib/docker/volumes/linkace_linkace_logs/_data

And when removing linkace_linkace_app it was solved.

I am using the docker-compose.production.yml with some modifications (adjusted directorys for volumes: and adjusted ports:) to create the stack in portainer. But when updating I did not delete old volumes.
