Ermis is Free Software: You can use, study, share and modify it at your will. The app can be redistributed and/or modified under the terms outlined by the GNU Affero General Public License Version 3.0 or later published by the Free Software Foundation.

Essentially, this license dictates that all code must be open-source, and any modifications made must also be released publicly. Additionally, the aforementioned license explicitly states this applies to both the server and the client.
