New IRControl2-EF-3.0 device not supported and not working with external converters

Hi all,
After a couple days of trying to add the device with external converters, i cant seem to get it to work.
Had a couple other people look into it, but they advised me so open support here.

it is suppose to be: HS2IRC

The information in Zigbee2MQTT:
Device type: Router
Zigbee Model: IRControl2-EF-3.0
Zigbee Manufacturer: HEIMAN
Support status: Not supported [(how_to_add_support)]

Zigbee version 2.1.1

Is there anything i can do to make this work?

If you want to add this device to HS2IRC then I believe you need to add IRControl2-EF-3.0 to the existing entry.

Here is a external converter, if it works you just need to get a pull request raised to match the changes:

Thanks for the reply.
i already tried it, and just tried it again.
after restart it will show up with picture of the HS2IRC, but all the fuctions arent there, and there is no information in the zigbee log when i aim a remote and press a button.

Did you try clicking reconfigure after it loads with the new converter?

Does your version of the device have a battery?
It seems that there may be an old and a new version of this device and one has a battery and another does not. You'll need to change the converter to be a separate entity or add clauses that only expire the battery for certain models. Someone report d and issue with this in 2023 but it doesn't appear to either have been resolved or pushed back to the converter for everyone to benefit from.

No battery indeed.
when i delete the battery expose and to zigbee, the battery is gone ofcourse.
But till no workng IR functions.
What do you advise?
just returning the Device and get another IR zigbee blaster?

It looks like this version needs some specific changes made to Zigbee2MQTT to work. If you speech for the model name you can see there are issues dating back over a year.

if this still isnt fixed, i dont see a reason to keep the product ;).
