Your provider API keys are stored locally in Windows Credential Manager.

Verba uses each key only to authenticate requests to the selected provider. The project does not include shared API keys and does not send your keys to the developer.

Do not submit passwords, private keys, banking data, medical data, legal documents, or other sensitive information unless you are comfortable sending that text to the selected provider.

Verba may write local warning logs for troubleshooting. Logs should not contain your provider API keys or the text you submit for correction or translation.

If you find a security issue, please do not open a public GitHub issue.
