When we decided to go ahead with the engineering blog, we discussed repurposing existing content that our engineers have written. As far as I remember, the idea was to use our engineers' "best-of"s as another potential content pool.
With this morning's call for content I thought it was worth revisiting this idea. As an example, I think that Tom Yedwab's posts on code reviews 12 are relevant and fit KA's voice.
Just an idea. Thoughts, John Sullivan?
And my response:
This sounds like a great idea to me! I think they should probably be marked somehow since they're fairly different (and we'll probably want to link back to the original post in some special way). "spotlight post" maybe? And I bet we could do a set interval thing if we wanted (lots of posts to pull from!), but I don't know if that would be better than just letting people post anytime they feel like.
