Kotlin 2.x.x support

Hi!

Because the latest version of MacOS comes with XCode 16.x (and Swift 6) by default, it would be nice to have a version of this library, that is compatible with them. According to the official compatibilty guide, going with Kotlin 2.1.x would be better, and Gradle and AGP should be also bumped.
On my own fork I was able to make the project work with the following versions

• Kotlin 2.1.0
• AGP 8.7.3
• Gradle 8.12

Would be a PR welcomed regarding the upgrade?
