Create "as made" plan/setup

How to create a "actual" setup ("as made" plan) of an experiment from the preliminary experiment setup - changing sensor number or location of some devices...

Sometimes, a plan is made before execution (pre-setup), and then, during the experiment, a location or type of device needs to be changed from what was originally planned.
There needs to be a preliminary plan, and an actually/"as made" plan (if changes were made during the experiment).

So we had that feature in the previous version, but it was complicated to use. Now we just overwrite the
trials during the experiment with the way things were actually deployed. If it is necessary to access the old (planned) locations, we should make a clone of it prior to changing.
