Hi guys, many thanks for all!
This is my first subject here so let me know if something is wrong...
I'm not sure about my understanding... so this is the question, hope you can help!
Starting from the fact that my Ender 3 v2 does not sound anything anymore - i.e. no beep, never, at least since the initial Jyers firmware update, observed with v422 (RET) & v427 (RET) boards...
In order to learn, try to understand that & make benefit of enhancements I installed VSC/Platformio up to build the v2.0.2i which is now running on my v427, together with @gothcha icons. You all did a great job!
Now back to the technical point :) Thanks to the available sources I discovered that outside of Marlin/Jyers itself,
platformio is defining PB13 as pin 29 (MARLIN_F103Rx\variant.h), which is then used by pins_CREALITY_V4.h as the 'BEEPER_PIN'. I also discovered:
that ST datasheet shows similar differences with platformio definitions for PB12/PB13/PB14/PB15, but I was only able to find reference to PB13 made by Marlin/Jyers code.
So I suspect a wrong platformio definition leading to my current BEEP issue...
Before I eventually try to replace pin 29 by pin 34 and rebuild 2.0.2i can you please give a feedback on the understanding?

that PB13 is located on pin 34 by v422/v427 schematics, thanks to Ender 3 V2 Schematic for 4.2.2 board #814 discussion. This is confirmed by ST datasheet for STM32F103xE chip found at [https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/cd00191185.pdf,] see page 33 for LQFP64 chipset.
