Five Crowns Score Tracker

Introduction

Five Crowns Score Tracker is a Kotlin-based Android application, optimized for Google Pixel 2, designed to help users keep track of scores while playing the card game Five Crowns. With an intuitive interface, the app allows players to input their names, track their scores each round, and automatically calculate points based on selected cards such as Jacks, Queens, and Kings.

Features

  • Player Registration: Enter the name and number of players participating in the game.
  • Score Tracking: Manually enter the number of points or select cards (Jacks, Queens, Kings, etc.) to automatically add their corresponding points.
  • Standings View: Navigate to the standings page at any time to view the total points for each player, helping you keep track of the leader and scores.
  • Round-by-Round Scoring: Input scores for each player after every round and see the updated standings.
  • Automatic Score Calculation: Select checkboxes for specific cards to automatically add points to a player's score, making the scoring process easier and error-free.

Setup

To set up the project in Android Studio, follow these steps:
  1. Clone the Repository:
  2. git clone https://github.com/JaeHero/Five-Crowns.git
  3. Run the Application:
  4. Ensure you have an emulator set up for Google Pixel 2 or connect a physical device. Then, press 'Run' (▶) in Android Studio to build and run the application.
  5. Explore the App:
  6. After the application launches, you can start using it to track scores for your Five Crowns card games.
