Just the placeholder? Or both the placeholder and for the plugin itself to handle sending the action bar message

Does the plugin you would be using to send the action bar message support MiniMessage? Bukkit isn't able to get the default name of an item, that information is stored on the client. Therefore I'd need to use translation keys to do it, which would require MiniMessage since it's being sent through a placeholder.

If you could find out that would be great. You could either just try it yourself to see if MiniMessage tags work (https://docs.advntr.dev/minimessage/format.html), or ask the developer of the plugin if it does.

if it doesn't I can make that a configurable option in this plugin assuming it lets you disable the action bar in that one. Though that'll take some time as that's a fairly big change, especially when trying to maintain compatibility with Spigot.
