Description
JabRef 5.0-dev
There is no relation any more between preferences->entry table columns and the
real window in a library. Neither the field names nor the columns width are related
to the main library window. This was working in 4.3.1
That would not be an issue if the settings of the main window would be restored
at startup. Unfortunately it is not restored, so one has to restore the column width
at any startup.
Furthermore if one is switching between libraries with different field names one cannot
restore the layout anymore by reimporting the preferences.
It would be very helpful if the active field names and the active column width would be stored
in the library itself, so one could have different layouts in jabref for different libraries
in a single run and without restart or restore.
