Has anyone found a solution? I have just installed this plugin and am having the same problem. I'm using Krita 5.2.1 but I also tried it with Krita 5.1.4 and had the same problem.

    SOLVED
I had to checkout the correct that the plugin was related to. Then everything worked great.

I think what @pseudokris meant was "I checked out the plugin ..."
Indeed if you remove the plugin, the issue is solved ... but you don't have the plugin anymore.

In my case, I couldn't even run Krita to uncheck it.
Dumping Krita config (~/.config/krita*) resets, and unchecks the plugin.
But it was working yesterday before I updated sd-webui to 1.6.1, so I guess the update has broken something.

EDIT: Actually, the issue comes back as soon as webui.sh is up and running. So the sd-webui update sends something new (a list format) to the plugin and Krita doesn't like it.

EDIT2 : Looks like someone found and fixed the issue! https://github.com/poipoi300/auto-sd-krita-ext-xl
