Peristent overlay after file operation in Medley Online File Manager

Describe the bug
In the noVNC File Manager of Medley Online, after carrying out a file operation that displays a dialog, the partially transparent gray overlay displayed when the dialog is open persists on the page after the completion of the operation. This happens with operations such as uploading or deleting files.

The page is otherwise fully functional and file operations can still be carried out. Reloading the page makes the overlay disappear.

The issue occurs also in an incognito window.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. sign into your Interlisp Online account
2. under Initial Exec, select Interlisp
3. click Run Medley
4. from the noVNC menu, open the File Manager
5. upload a file

Expected behavior
The page preserves its color scheme and no overlay is displayed.

This behavior appeared sometime over the past couple of months or so. It's not a major problem and the label low priority may be assigned to this issue.
