@robtuley and @yuhattor I think this report would really benefit from your review.

As I have been writing these reports on my own for a while, hence they are biased to my personal view.

I am curious to hear what you think about status and goals for the InnerSource Patterns working group.

Thank you for your help!

Update 2022-08-14:
While at it, I also created basic info about how I go about creating these reports.

Oh and I should add:
I need to submit the report in some form tomorrow, as it is expected to be submitted 5 days ahead of the 19th (day of the Board meeting).

But even if you add suggestions later, I can still work those in.

👋 Sorry to be slow, was away on summer hols last week. A few post-merge thoughts, caveated with the fact that I haven't managed to be useful yet as trusted committer, but do intend to get my act together at some point.

reduce the time that PRs stay in review

Fully +1 this thought and that feels like a key aim. I feel at the moment like the 3 patterns levels while useful are a bit complicated for the requirements and mentally think of them as 2 levels anyway ("in-book" and "draft pre-book") which you sort of touch on in what you've written anyway. Not really followed the fabulous translation effort or what is expected in terms of keeping those translations up to date but a fast merge and iterate on "draft" patterns seems very achievable for even major changes, and on the in-book patterns probably the changes are relatively minor so easier to merge quickly.
