The simulation does not run the last provided timestep

The simulation stops one time step before the defined end_time in the yaml file. For example for end_time: "2012-01-01 01:00:00" the last simulated timestep that appears in the output CSV is 2012-01-01 00:45:00.

Temporary solution: add one extra timestep to the end_time

Already tried: add one second to end_time. This did not work.
