[IgxGrid] Typing + or = in cell edit mode throws TypeError and does not insert character #17605

Description

When entering edit mode in an IgxGrid (by double-clicking or pressing Enter on a string cell), typing + or = does not insert the character into the cell. Instead, the following error is logged to the console:
TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'rowIndex') is logged to the console.

• Only + and = seem to be affected; other symbols and characters work as expected.
• This regression was introduced in version 21.2.12. It does not occur in prior versions (e.g., 21.2.11 and earlier).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a Grid editing sample, such as this one.
2. Enter grid edit mode by double-clicking or pressing Enter on a string grid cell.
3. Press + or = on the keyboard.

Actual Result

Nothing is entered into the cell, and this error is logged to the console:
