The idea was to keep the templates generated this way hidden, to make them effectively "immutable" (as it is not possible to make them read-only). However, Antonino tested the functionality and they were showing up in the "templates" section

I would suggest we create a function browser on the osparc side.

In the same spirit as the "Templates" and "Public Projects" we could have the "Functions" section. Here you could inspect, rename, edit, share and delete them...

We would need one more entry in template_type=FUNCTION
