Three main types of scan are of interest:

1. Trapezoids measured on transmission monitor
2. Negative trapezoids measured on transmission monitor
3. Sample alignment measured on a region-of-interest of main detector - likely to be <100 pixels total so probably no need to use detector-mapping here

I think the work to do as part of this ticket is therefore:

• Ensure our trapezoid fit allows for a negative-height trapezoid
• Define the above types of scan in ZOOM's bluesky inst area
  • abs & rel variants are wanted
  • Simplify interface where possible - e.g. fit types are known in advance, can define a sensible default number of frames
  • adaptive scans might help but aren't really necessary here as the time saving would not be large
• For (3), would like the ability to do ToF filtering (wavelength filtering is harder as LTotal is dynamic based on tank/det positions, still possible but scientist says ToF makes more sense). We have this infrastructure already, so just configure it for ZOOM.
• Go to ZOOM, sit with scientist, and configure/test as much as possible.

We went to ZOOM and tested as much as we could do without neutrons - next step will be when ZOOM use it in cycle (likely not first week as they're doing a magnet experiment, but probably second week of cycle)
