321 Vegan API is a free and open-source Fastapi app that helps contributors handle scanned product barcodes and check whether a product is vegan-friendly.
It is designed as a tool helping vegans and making their life easier.
The goal is to support conscious, plant-based lifestyles by making information accessible and trustworthy.

Some of the data used in this application is based on Open Food Facts, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
The database has been modified and enriched by the 321 Vegan team to better fit the needs of the application.
