Suggestion: make integration tests less chatty

Overview of the Suggestion

When running the API E2E test suite, you get a lot of unnecessary output. It slows down execution as it needs to be printed and makes debugging failures much harder. We should only output more detailed information when tests fail or someone flips a switch to enable more verbose output everywhere.

What inspired this idea?
When adding another API test I was once again digging through a lot of superfluous output.

What existing behavior do you want changed?
Be less chatty, only when it matters tell me details.
